Lung Cancer Symptoms: Signs in your cough to watch out for

While cough is one of the top symptoms of lung cancer, it can be a sign of many other illnesses and infections, especially in this numbing cold weather, respiratory viruses are thriving, confusing people to a wide extent.

However, according to the UK National Health Services, a lingering cough that does not go away after three weeks, should not be overlooked. One should get themselves examined by a doctor, as it could point towards lung cancer, advises the health body.

Furthermore, if the cough is accompanied with an ache or pain, it could be a sign of worry and visiting a pulmonologist should be the immediate step.
